Body Safe Program
Norwell High School will be participating in a county-wide "Body Safe" program for all middle school and high school students and their parents. Terry Hall, a retired Indianapolis Police officer, will be speaking at the programs. The following topics will be discussed:
- Respecting yourself and others
- Preventing molestation
- How to say no to molestation
- What to do if molestation occurs
- Sexting
- Internet safety
- Sexual Harassment
- Date Rape
- Younger girls dating older guys
- Saying no and voicing when you are uncomfortable
The parents' meeting will be held Monday, April 12th at 7:00 pm at Bluffton High School cafeteria. Child care will be provided. Student meetings will be held on Wednesday, April 14th at Norwell High School. The first session will begin at 9:30 and end at 10:10, and the second session will begin at 10:15 and end at 10:55.
